COURSE DESCRIPTION


The First Maths Challenge (FMC) Prep Course is crafted to nurture young learners' mathematical curiosity and problem-solving abilities, taking them beyond the standard school curriculum for Years 3 and 4. Designed specifically for students preparing for the First Maths Challenge conducted by the Mathematical Association, this course offers topic-specific sessions to build foundational and advanced skills required for success in the competition.


Delivered in a personalized 1:1 format with flexible scheduling, this course can be customized to approximately 10 hours based on the student's individual preparation needs. It encourages a love for mathematics and logical thinking while preparing participants to achieve a Gold certificate in the First Maths Challenge.


WHO CAN ENROL IN THIS COURSE?


This course is ideal for students in the UK aged 7–9 (Years 3 and 4) who:


  1. Aim to participate in the First Maths Challenge (FMC) by the Mathematical Association and secure a Gold certificate.

  2. Are preparing for 11+ entrance exams, requiring strong mathematical and logical skills.

  3. Wish to extend their mathematical knowledge and problem-solving abilities beyond the school syllabus.

  4. Have an interest in solving puzzles, exploring patterns, and developing logic-based skills.
