About the Course

COURSE DESCRIPTION

The Intermediate Biology Olympiad (IBO) Prep Course is meticulously designed to guide students in mastering biological concepts, sharpening analytical skills, and excelling in the prestigious Intermediate Biology Olympiad organized by UK Biology Competitions. Targeted at Year 12 (or equivalent) students, this course combines a comprehensive understanding of biology with problem-solving expertise tailored to the competition's demands.

The course follows a structured approach, blending interactive tutorials, in-depth exploration of theoretical concepts, past paper analyses, and targeted problem-solving sessions. As the IBO syllabus aligns with the GCSE/AS-level Biology curriculum, this program is integrated with regular AS-level Biology 1:1 tuition. Spanning 35–50 hours, approximately 75% of the course time is dedicated to the standard curriculum, with the remaining 25% focused on IBO-specific preparation.
